Without opening one of these I find it hard to believe that if there are 32 AA size cells in there that they are actually 1.5 volts each, more like .1875 volts. I have seen 9v batteries taken apart for the 1.5 volt AAA batteries which makes more sense. Any knowledgable electronics people out there that can explain why this would work or not?

A set of four cells in series will give 6 volts. If you have eight of these sets connected in parallel then you still have 6 volts.

This is bogus -- there are lots of reports all over the net from people who have tried this, and gotten four large cells that don't match any other battery sizes.

Plus the video is made by gagfilms.com!

I can't wait for someone to pop open a car battery and dump out a handful of hearing aid batteries.
